Reminiscences of the frontier days of Wisconsin by Lockwood, lawyer, trader, and merchant, who took up residence in Prairie du Chien, Wis. in 1819. He includes descriptions of various Indian tribes, especially the Sioux with whom Lockwood spent three winters in their own country.
